Who We Are
We are excited to welcome board-certified podiatrist Dr. Kelly Lucas DPM. A New York native, she earned her medical degree with honors from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Lucas completed a three-year surgical at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center and Northshore University Hospital. She has comprehensive training in elective, wound care, reconstructive and trauma surgery of the foot and ankle in both the adult and pediatric populations.
Dr. Lucas graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and obtained her medical degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She also was trained in sports medicine, treating Fordham University athletic teams while in residency.
She is currently board certified in foot surgery and board certified in reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Lucas is actively involved with training residents at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Northshore University Hospital, Jamaica hospital, Flushing hospital and NYU-Winthrop University Hospital.
In 2022 she was awarded Teacher of the Year at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and has been awarded advanced ankle surgical licensure by the state of New York.
